The microphone is designed primarily for speech applications; ideal for announcing, making presentations, or for other public speaking engagements. The cardioid pattern of the microphone provides directional sound pickup that minimizes ambient noise away from the microphone. The transmitter is powered using 1 AA battery while the receiver accepts two AA batteries.
