The 8-in. polypropylene woofers give the C791 shockingly powerful bass for the price - all the way down to 36 Hz, which is even deeper than the lowest note on an upright bass! The C791’s soft-dome tweeters pivot so you can direct the treble anywhere you want. Thanks to careful tweaking from Proficient's audiophile design team, the 2 drivers blend like a dream. Hook up a pair of C791s to even a little 10-watt amp and you will be totally blown away. Thanks to its high 92 dB sensitivity, the C791 needs only about one-third as much power as a typical speaker. And the impedance is 8 ohms, which means any amp will have enough juice to drive it. The speaker pair comes with thin-bezel grilles held by neo magnets.
