With the C651 6-1/2-In. LCR Ceiling Speaker from Proficient Audio, you can build a complete in-ceiling home theater system at an astoundingly low cost. With its angled drivers, the C651 delivers realistic left/center/right imaging even though it's mounted in the ceiling. And its high-quality components and careful engineering give it that classic Proficient sound. It is designed to be mounted directly above a TV set, so the drivers are angled 15° toward the listener to deliver the same kind of directional effects you get with conventional box or in-wall home theater speakers. The sweet-sounding silk dome tweeter pivots for fine-tuning, and the 6.5-in. polypropylene woofer puts out clean, punchy bass. With impedance of 8 ohms, the C651 doesn’t demand much current. And with its high 91-dB sensitivity, it doesn’t need a lot of power to reach high volumes. It’s also as easy to install and includes thin-bezel grilles held by neo magnets.
